St Josephs Orphanage for Girls, Subiaco, Perth was for girls aged up to 16 years who were placed there by government authorities or who were private admissions. From 1947, child migrants from Britain and Malta were sent to St Joseph’s.

Orphanage was retained until 1970 when name of institution changed to Cathering McAuley Residential Child Care, used from 1972 to 1989.
