Glynhyfryd Family Group Home opened in 1984 and was run by the Tasmanian Government. It was situated in Croesus Court, Lindisfarne. Glynhyfryd provided temporary accommodation to children who were wards of state or supervised in other ways by the Department of Community Services. Glynhyfryd closed in 1993. The Home reopened in 1998 but then closed sometime in the mid 2000’s.
