Faulds House was opened in 1976 at Guildford, in the Lynwood Hall complex. It was established by the Department of Youth and Community Services as a home for school aged girls. When Faulds House opened Linnwood was closed and renovated ‘to be reopened as a hostel for working age girl wards’. Faulds House closed in 1996.
