Boys Home Opened

A Home, which will accomodate 21 children, was opened by Mr Fred H Stewart for the New South Wales Churches of Christ, at Dundas on Saturday.

Mr E Davis, president of the conference of the Churches of Christ, stated that the home had been acquired for £3750, and I there was a debt outstanding of £3350.  It was expected that a home for aged women would be opened in Sydney in the near future.

Mr W H Clay (social service organiser for the Victorian Churches of Christ) said he hoped that the home would not be known under any distinct deonomination, but that it would be known as a Christian Home.

An appeal for funds resulted in more than £260 being subscribed.
