Colton Cottage was the fifth Cottage Home acquired by the Board. It was opened on 2nd February 1965 and like the other cottages accommodated up to ten children. Miss OC Stone was the first Cottage Mother. Clark Cottage was named after Lady Colton who was an early member of the State Children’s Council.
