Chandler Boys’ Farm was opened in 1932 in Roelands, near Bunbury as a private-run training centre for unemployed boys aged 14 years an older.

The farm began with 7 boys living in tents and they were trained in farm skills. By the end of its first year, 18 boys were in residence.
