The Deaconess Children’s Home in Strathfield, also known as Lisgar House and Agincourt, was opened by the Church of England Deaconess Institution in a house called Agincourt in Albert Street. Girls from the Deaconess Children’s Home Lisgar, in Marrickville, were moved there in 1929.
