Sutherland Home Invercargill

Dates: 1957-1989

This home opened in 1957 in Oteramika Road, Invercargill, in a home and five acres of land donated by the Sutherland family. A new wing was added to the original homestead. It closed in 1989.

CLAN – Care Leavers Australasia Network – is a national, independent, peak membership body which represents, supports and advocates for people who were raised in Australian and New Zealand orphanages, children’s homes, missions & foster care.
