St Patrick’s Orphanage was run by the Sisters of Mercy.
From 1919 the Orphanage was located at the end of O’Connor Road, Armidale. When it closed in 1983, the remaining children were moved to two cottages in Armidale which were known as St Patrick’s Homes.
