Also known as ‘Lynwood Hall’.

Originally built by George McCredie for his family in the 1800’s, the NSW Education Department leased and subsequently leased the property from 1917 as a Boys Truant School, becoming Guilford Truant School for boys in 1921.  This home closed in 1936 and was reopened as Linnwood Hall – residential school for girls aged over 14 in 1939.
