The Boys’ Home, Washpool was a Salvation Army run boys Home located at Washpool Farm. near Kalbar. During the second World War, from 1942 – 1945, the Home accomodated boys from the Industrial School for Boys, Indooroopilly. Once the war had finished, the boys were moved back to Indooroopilly. This Home was known as the Boys’ Home, Indooroopilly.
